2020 has been challenging. From the ongoing global pandemic to protests sparked by systemic racism to disasters caused by climate change, this year has brought a tremendous amount of disruption and uncertainty.

At this pivotal moment in history, we checked in with 16- to 24-year-olds through a global survey spanning 15 countries, as well as remote interviews with young people around the world.

How do they feel the events of this year have affected them? What are their hopes and dreams for the future? And how is their experience of the world today shaping their plans, beliefs, and attitudes when they contemplate life beyond 2020?
