My Teen Life, our recent study of nearly 5,200 teens in 32 countries, revealed that global teens have a lot of trust in their parents. Parents are fostering these intimate relationships, with 93% saying they want their teens to be able to tell them anything.

When it comes to public authorities, however, teens have little confidence. Just 18% trust the police, 10% trust religious figures and 2% trust the government.
