Covid-19 has caused many American students to finish their school year at home, without a clear sense of when regular campus life will return.

Get Schooled, an education nonprofit supported by ViacomCBS since its inception 10 years ago, helps young people in the US on their path to college and their first jobs. Last week, the organization released the results of a survey of nearly 1,400 American high school and college students’ top concerns between April 9th and 14th, 2020.

This survey revealed that American high school and college students’ main worries are succeeding at distance learning, getting college financial aid, returning to campus, missing friends, and job loss. The information they would find most helpful is about financial aid, finding a job, staying healthy, and distance learning. What they want above all from schools now is information about next school year and financial aid, followed by tuition refunds, assistance finding a job, and help with internet, tech, or printing access.
